Epie Jackai Sona Memorial Foundation, Inc. (EJSMF) is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of California. The organization will provide charitable giving through qualifying nonprofit organizations and similar exempt programs, beginning in California and Cameroon. By conducting this activity, EJSMF will assist these organizations in accomplishing their missions and goals, thus improving their chances for success in the future. Through Charitable giving, EJSMF will transform lives, foster love, support peace, encouragement and promote success amongst adolescents, youth, and individuals living with autism spectrum disabilities in low-income and other communities in California and Cameroon. In addition, EJSMF will enhance access to healthcare and delivery of high-quality services to mothers and newborn babies in Cameroon.

The organization will be involved in the following activities:
Epie Jackai Sona Guardian Angel Fund: EJSMF charitable giving will be provided through the distribution of funds or materials, such as backpacks, pencils, folders, and other school supplies at the beginning of the school year to qualifying organizations in Santa Clara County to distribute to low-income students, and NGOs in Cameroon. Charitable giving will be provided to the Buea Town Clinic Maternity in Cameroon every year in the form of baby quilts, clothing, appliances, supplies, crib sheets, and bed linens.

Scholarships for Cameroonian Students in the Bay Area of California:
Epie Jackai Sona Memorial Foundation will provide scholarships for Cameroonian students from the Bay Area of California, attending a high school, college, or university to assist with the cost of education. Students will demonstrate enrollment in a school of learning, trade, and vocation, a minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred, a positive attitude and routine participation in community service. Distribution of awards will be made on an annual basis. EJSMF will collaborate with organizations in California to make a mentorship event hosted at least for children in middle school, high school, and college level of education to garner connection and mentorship. EJSMF will promote lasting relationships amongst the youths, adults, effectively trying to continue the Cameroonians in the Bay Area (CAMBAY) Community feeling.

Bellarmine College Preparatory, Epie Sona ’12 Memorial Tuition Assistance Endowment:
Charitable giving will be provided to the endowment fund for tuition assistance to the families of students who might not otherwise be able to receive their secondary Jesuit education at Bellarmine as needs are assessed and identified. Recipients of this award will be well-rounded academically, athletics and engaged in community service.
Benevolent Assistance for Children / Youth in Need:
Epie Jackai Sona Memorial Foundation has been organized to provide benevolent assistance. More specifically, the organization will aid individuals living with autism spectrum disorders as well as their families, to engage in recreational activities and programs, beginning in California and Cameroon. EJSMF will help these individuals experience new opportunities that they might not have been able to otherwise, thus improving their quality of life. EJSMF will provide sponsorship of individuals living with autism spectrum disorders in Special Olympics events.
